Soldier On, a national not-for-profit organisation supporting the well-being of veterans and their families, engaged Webtree to revamp their website. The project aimed to enhance user experience, streamline content management, and better serve the organisation’s goals. Launched on time in March 2023, the project involved stripping down the existing site and rebuilding it with modern functionalities and design aesthetics.
Webtree undertook a comprehensive reskin of the existing Soldier On website, resulting in a practically new site for a fraction of the cost of a complete rebuild. Utilising WordPress and Elementor, the redesign included a robust events module, an online store, dedicated sections for articles and resources, and team pages. Collaboration with Soldier On’s graphic designer ensured the new design was both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.
The project was completed on time, delivering significant improvements in user experience, engagement, and content management efficiency. The reskin approach allowed for these enhancements while adhering to budget constraints.
In February 2024, Soldier On re-engaged Webtree to develop a jobs portal aimed at advertising job opportunities on behalf of their partners. This new feature was built within a short timeframe, further enhancing the website’s functionality and providing additional value to the organisation and its community.
